When Texas native, Joshua LaRock, returned home after years of travel and study, the call of the West could not be ignored. LaRock, similar to members of the Taos Society of Artists, is a classically trained artist inspired by European masters. LaRock recently moved back to his native state to be closer to family - and a chance trip to the Southwest inspired his first Western series. We are extremely excited to present “Into the West,” opening on December 14, 2019. LaRock’s technical ability as an artist is among the best in contemporary paintings today. He brings a calming sensitivity of the old masters mixed with the grit of the American West.
